I purchased these as an alternative to the Supernova Trails (now Riot) and have been very satisfied. I've put in over 100 tropical rain forest miles on the first pair. Good grip over wet and muddy ground. Light but good sole liner to protect against rocks and roots. Good cushioning and upper grip of the foot. They hold the foot well over uneven ground and I haven't had any binding type blistering issues with these--which I have had with some other Adidas trail shoes. I can see doing a 100 miler in these without a problem or even a change of soxs.
Like most adidas they have some poor glue/bonding characteristics and the toe protector has come loose from the front of the shoe. I usually shoe goo the fronts of my adidas because the toe boxes have poor toe protection against root and rock impacts.(Do it when new and let it cure for a few weeks) Wash them well after a run, dry out of sun and heat and they will last well. I'd rate them a five if it wasn't for the toe protector problems.

Great soft Adidas ride, but too narrow for my feet in toe box. Sadly, sent back.

Bought these shoes in the summer of 2010 to replace my Nike Shox and I have to admit, they have made me an adidas fan. I think from here onwards, I will only be buying the Adidas. They are wonderfully comfortable and very lightweight. I used to walk about 3 to 4 miles daily to and from work in these, and they were as comfortable on mile 4 as they were on mile 1. They are bit on a flashy side because of the red and yellow strip on the sole, but I like them. May not be for everyone because of that. But if you dont mind a red and yellow strip peaking under your sole, I will say give them a shot, you will not be sorry.
