I love the look of the classic Samba and liked the earth tone color scheme set off by the orange insole. They were a great price too. The thing is they are not size 13 US as advertised. I've worn size 13 for over 20 years so I know my size. I tried wearing them a few times and even used shoes stretchers on them for a few weeks, but they are still too tight, make my feet hurt and are giving me blisters and calluses. If you are going to buy these order a size bigger then you normally do.

They are not fooling around when they say the soles are "chalk" colored. They are indeed yellow chalk color. It's like they tried to match the side color but overdid the yellow. Otherwise the shoe is comfortable and fits about a half size bigger than usual shoes ( like other sambas ).

It's not awful, but I would not pay full price for them. I am still debating if they look good or not.

pretty comfortable shoe. fits well and hugs the foot (but not too tightly). the material is good and the shoe is well made. it looks pretty awesome, too. the colors are quite bright, but no overpoweringly so. an excellent buy (especially for the price) if you're looking to a unique alternative to the classic samba style.
