nothing comes close to these tennis shows, I have been buying them since 1977 , have tried other sneakers in between , but have always come back to Stan Smiths . in the 70s they used to be made in France , now they are made in Indonesia. Be patient when you get them , it take about 3 days to break them in, then its clear sailing

When I first got these sneakers I was very satisfied with their look and extreme comfort. Now after a couple of months and not much use I notice that the end of the shoe is separating from the leather upper. So I have gone from very satisfied to very disappointed in 2 months. I cannot recommend this shoe.

I have loved these sneakers for many years now, and it was quite pleasant and surprising that this old model was available here in Amazon.
I used to walk the shoe stores and tend to look for these all the time, trying to catch a good deal, but for several years I didn't see them anymore. My previous pair I got just wandering around Harvard Square in Cambridge, MA, small shoe store, across and around the corner from the T station, where I got them not too cheap. Them I didn't see them anymore for maybe 2 or 3 years when I ran into them in a mall in El Paso, TX. I didn't get them there and regretted for doing so ever since because they truly disappeared and a supposedly "new model" showed up, which is awful, with a sort of clear plastic sole, kind of sparkly... gee! Horrible.

This sneakers are very comfortable just for walking, hiking or in fact, for playing tennis. Their appearance is very simple but very robust and with a bold presence. I think I love them mainly because of their simplicity which Adidas models are tending to leave behind more and more. They are great for me.

The first leather sneakers on the market are still the best in the crowded market today!

I have been buying them for years and they are the CLASSIC shoe choice!

A street seller wanted to buy my shoes from me years ago because they did not sell them in Bangkok!
