I have had a pink pair of these which I got from a brick and mortar store a long time ago... those were size 9. This particular design of shoe never stays really secure, no matter how I tie them (i.e. I can take them off without unlacing), and the fit was a bit tight, but otherwise those have worked out really well for me.

This time I ordered a size 9.5 blue pair to address the tight fit, but it seems something has changed since then, since the shoes just aren't as good. Even moreso than my first pair, I have trouble getting them secured. I also noticed immediately upon putting them on that "something" was odd about the arch support - and then discovered that Adidas had already installed two rubber/foamlike arch support inserts beneath the sole, which I promptly removed as they made walking pretty uncomfortable. Even after that, though, the shoes simply don't fit as well and are not as comfortable as my first pair. There's a number of different Adidas models that all look similar to this, but I know they are the same - Superstar II.

Despite all that, I still rate these highly because even though they are a bit pricy (edging towards the "athletic shoe" range), they are worth it. They last for years even through heavy use. They are fine to wear in the rain, or running around outside. The pattern and material of the tread keeps them skid-resistant for a long time. Unlike some other shoes, which develop damage or even tears around the areas that the shoe flexes when you stand on your toes (for example when running), these do not. The only disappointment I've had is that because they are made of some leather, I can't just throw them in the washing machine when they are dirty...but, they are not very difficult to clean off with an old toothbrush or such. Overall they are still great shoes. (And they are cute, to boot.)

I've been wanting a pair of silver Superstar 2's for a long time and I finally scored these! $27 for the pair AND they were practically mirror finish silver. Better than expected. These are the most comfortable, versatile casual sneakers on the market. I wear a pair every day.

Highly recommended. True to size, will stretch a bit with wear-- real leather.

There is no age to wear these cute shoes, they look just great on my wife along with her skirt

I am not a sneaker kind of girl, but was looking for something comfortable to bomb around in this fall/winter/spring that wouldn't break the bank. These sure fit the bill! Very comfortable, affordable and they beat the hell out of anything from walmart/kmart.

I love this new pair of shoes, it's very comfortable and stylist. I wear them to play tennis very often and they still look/feel good. I'm glad that I got them at a good deal. The wait for shipping/delivery was about a week, but I wasn't in a hurry. I'd buy it again.
