I've been training in wrestling shoes for 15 years now and my last three pairs have been Adidas so I was pretty surprised when I got these babies out of the box and tried them on. First I figured out the laceguard, which is pretty minimal, not sure exactly where they think I want my laces such that they don't get snagged when someone's pulling on your feet. Then I decided to take a few laps around my living room. Right away I noticed the padding in the heel, "Huh?" I thought, "Feels springy, I guess when you spend enough on a shoe they add extra features like a springy heel." It kind of feels like you're stepping on a little rubber bouncing ball. Ultimately I found the effect destabilizing. I guess it's not so bad on the mat where your feet sink, but it still feels weird. Then the deal breaker happened, while doing a few squats and lunges I noticed the toe pinching across the outside arch of my foot. I figured it would go away after some breaking in, but such was not the case. They're just designed in such a way that they bind uncomfortably when the toe is flexed. I can't speak to the build quality or endurance of the materials because I haven't had them long. I've been very pleased with my previous Adidas wrestling shoes though. Maybe these shoes fit someone else great, but I'm going to return mine.

My son chose these shoes for wrestling this year, and he has liked the amount of flexibility offered, as well as the snug fit and cool design. They are very bendable (a plus for wrestling, fit well, and very lightweight.

I purchased these wrestling shoes for my son. He practices 4-5 times per week, goes to tournaments on most Saturday's, and has his team matches on Sunday's. He wears his wrestling shoes a lot! He loved the look of these shoes, and loves the feel of them too. He has had them for a few weeks now and they still look brand new - so they don't fall apart or look worn quickly. I would definitely recommend this shoe to any active wrestler. He says that the rounded heel feels a little weird when he walks on a hard surface floor, but on the mat they feel great. Again, he loves them and are very recommended.

These shoes are awesome.the best wrestling shoes i have ever worn.I love these!!!! great ankle and arch support, feels great on the foot.the grip and floor contact feel is wikkid and the rounded bottoms work great on a wrestling mat for any type of movement.also they look hot and ventilate extremely well keeping the foot nice and cool.simply an amazing piece of equipment.I cant give it enough stars.on top of all that ,the guy whos signature shoe this is (Henry Cejudo) is a wrestling machine so i dont mind having his name on my shoe at all
