Not as comfy as I had hoped
on April 26, 2013
I am not a runner. I am 54, and I walk 2 miles every day at lunchtime. I went to a Fleet Feet store, and the shoe they recommended and the one that fit best was an Adidas running shoe. It was a higher end model that unfortunately I could not afford ($165 with the inserts they wanted to sell me, too). I looked on Amazon and came up with these instead. They are okay. They fit a little large on me - I have a lot of room at the end of my toes. They were not comfortable the first few times I wore them. I ended up buying a pair of Dr. Scholls' Active Series inserts, and that has helped some. I am a little disappointed these don't feel better on my feet. They are just okay, and if I can find something that feels and fits better, I will retire these to just casual use and won't wear them on my daily walks. If my feet don't feel right, I am miserable all over.
