Adidas is one of sportwear's oldest brands known for quality. I could never afford Adidas as a kid and finally bought the track top, which I've also wanted for years.

It's great for what it does. I wear this when doing light exercise on cold days. The fabric keeps the cold and the wind out, and actually it's pretty warm. After about 15 minutes I have to unzip the front so I don't overheat.

The quality is also great, I haven't had any runs in the fabric and despite not taking great care of it (I stuff it in gym bags and hang it on a hook in the garage when I'm done) the fabric still seems new, it doesn't pile and doesn't wrinkle. Best of all, the pockets have zips so my stuff doesn't fall out when I'm running. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this jacket and I'd get it again.

Pros: Warm, good quality fabric that doesn't wrinkle, pile or run. Low maintenance.

If you want to look good, you want to look classic. And that's an old school classic adidas item. Personally, I prefer it to superstar because of the collar, but a classic's a classic and looks great. When this will wear out, I'll get another one. And another one. I love this track top, and again, you can't go wrong going for the classic.

This jacket fits how it is suppose to GREAT! light enough to wear in spring, but helps also under a jacket in cooler weather..have over 20 Adidas Track Jackets and will continue to buy them. AMAZING!!!!!

For me, this is THEEE classic old school vintage track top. They've pretty much left this track jacket unchanged for 25-30 years, but it still looks awesome. Also, it comes in a lot of colors so you'll end up wanting to buy several more after you've bought your first one.

They're quite lightweight, very comfortable, and quality-built. It's basically just the 3 stripes down the arms and the logo on the chest. Simple, but timeless and classic.

I will say that the jacket fits a little bit short in terms of the body length. The arm length is good though. I'm 6' 1", 200 lbs, and buy these in Larges. The arms are fine in terms of length. The bottom of the jacket's body though, I would prefer it if it hit another inch or two lower though. That's really the only legit complaint I have with the jacket. If you had a longer torso/body, you may not like the way it fits. Also, the bottom band might be considered tight by some who are a little heavier than me. It definitely has the older vintage fit to it.

I personally prefer these Firebird's over the Superstar track jackets since they have the full-neck collar. You can zip the collar all the way up and cover up your neck in the colder weather. It just gives you more options than the Superstar in terms of looks/functionality for the same price.

Overall though, the Adidas Firebird is a true old school classic that everyone should own at least one of!

I purchased the black firebird jacket along with the pants (white stripes). This tracksuit is of the highest quality. The overall feel screams classy with a slight shine to the exterior and those legendary three stripes running down the sides. I also recently purchased a puma tracksuit in navy blue with white stripes. It was no where near the quality of the adidas with the felt logo falling off the pant and a overall thinner material.

My son found this on Amazon and sent me a link, requesting that I purchase it for him. He was very happy with it and wears it all the time, both alone and under a warmer jacket when it's cold outside.

I've always loved the Adidas for many many years and my brother's birthday was coming up. I figured, why not share the love. When he got the jacket the color looked great and material was good. Especially now that it's starting to get cooler again. The material definitely keeps you warm. Also it looks great. I definitely recommend this to anyone.

Pros:
1. Lightweight
2. Warm for its weight
3. Very nice styling. I also love the look of the classic Adidas logo.
4. Very easy to zip up. (More on that later)

Cons:
1. The inside pocket is a little sloppy sowed on. Kinda looks like it was thought of at the last minute.

This jacket is very comfortable. I find myself reaching for this jacket instead of my old hoodie. I live in KS and its starting to get cold here and this jacket does a wonderful job of keeping me warm. It won't be a 40 below, full winter, coat but it does a nice job above that.

On the zipper, its awesome. I know it kinda sounds weird praising a zipper but it needs to be praised. On my Columbia jacket (I forget what model and everything) that I've had for a couple of years it has a removable lining which can be worn as a separate light jacket. That zipper has big, without a better word, teeth and can sometimes be difficult to zip up either because it got in a bind or something. The teeth on this jacket are nice and close together making it easy, nice and smooth. And for those who want to know, it even has a nice zip sound too. :]

Gotta love adidas tracksuits, my only compliant is that the arms are a little big, maybe if I had 26" biceps. Otherwise its the freshest track jacket you can get!
