Fit was wrong, too narrow and small on top,

I purchased and had to return. I've been wearing adidas for a couple of years and haven't had this problem before. I typically like a good trail shoe just because of the terrain on my property - uneven with rocks, and running shoes in general always feel better on my feet.
I think I would've liked these except they felt like a narrow rather than medium width, or something was flawed with this pair. First, I do have a high arch and high instep, but I have a regular width foot, far from wide but not quite narrow. I barely had enough lace to tie them, and when I did the sides were still far apart. Any tighter was unbearable. The top of the shoe between the laces and the toe, felt like it was pressing downward on my foot, particularly my right foot (which is actually slightly smaller than my left). Visually you could see the difference and the top of the right definitely bowed further in than the left. I really wanted to like this shoe and maybe I just got a bad pair but I just returned rather than exchanged. Untied, I could still see where I would've liked them - they were light weight, good grip, with enough cushion. I might be inclined later to try this shoe again or an updated version. In the meantime though I am still wearing my regular adidas runners and my old adidas trail running shoes.

I've had two other pairs of Adidas trail running shoes of different models, both in size 6.5 which fit me perfectly. I know shoe size can vary between companies, but it is ridiculous when the same company can't consistently size its own shoes! I couldn't even get these on my feet they were so small. (And lest any reader think I am in some sort of crazy denial about my foot size, I was wearing one of my older pairs of size 6.5 Adidas trail running shoes when I tried these on and the size difference was profound. I got the older pair at a brick and mortar shoe store and as soon as I put them on I knew they were a perfect fit -- with these, not so much.)
I've read some other reviews that recommend ordering up a half size, but I think the 6.5 size is really a full size smaller than that -- if not more. It's really annoying to have to return them because the shipping comes out of my refund on the grounds that Amazon considers the size being too small as not their fault. I agree that it isn't Amazon's fault, but I do consider it Adidas's fault because these shoes should fit. The labeled size is not correct and it is verging on deceptive to claim they are 6.5, when they absolutely are not. The lesson I take from this is not to buy shoes online unless I've already tried the exact model on and have confirmed what size will fit me. Now I know that just because I've bought shoes from a company before and consistently worn the same size with that company, doesn't mean a different model of their shoe will fit remotely correctly even if it is the same size I've always worn.

I had a pair of adidas trail running shoes last year and LOVED them, so I bought these. I do agree with everyone to buy a bigger size than you normally wear - I learned this the hard way. But if they wear and support as well as the shoes I had last year, then it would be well worth the hassle!!

Very beautifull shoes, I think is a litte small, I have to use it with very thin socks. Also they forgot to say that it's WINTERIZED (for running in cold weather)... imagine I live in Venezuela!! ... tropic, hot during almost all year lol ... so I suppose I will use it when I'll go to La Colonia Tovar or Merida... or during cold nights.
Un poco pequeños y algo que olvidaron decir es que son para correr en climas frios... no para Venezuela que está en el trópico!! De todos modos son unos zapatos bonitos y comodos, asegurense de vivir en clima frio si los van a comprar.

These shoes are really comfortable. Just what I needed for my daily walks on our local trails. They have plenty of room in the toe. I power walk on icy streets, gravel trails, pavement, and mountain paths. Very stable, very comfortable, just what I needed.

In the summer I play a lot of outdoor volleyball in grass. I was in need of a new pair of sneakers and wanted to find a pair that would get good traction for the side-to-side movement as well as forward and backward. I searched for a couple of weeks before discovering this pair from adidas and I'm glad I held out. These shoes are amazing for traction and are also very lightweight. Most of the black areas of the show are mesh, so they breathe well and mold to your foot.
My only complaint is that if you wear the shoes when it's cold out, they do not offer much insulation because the cool air blows directly through the mesh in the shoe. This same thing is amazing in the summer though, or in the wet, because they breathe well and dry quickly. So, it really just depends on what you need them for. After I purchased them, I've noticed a lot of other players sporting them as well and they've become a big hit in the volleyball circles. With my experience, they run true to size.

Having a size 11 foot makes it hard for this girl to find shoes. Local stores rarely stock my size (or only stock a few that sell out quickly). At someone's suggestion, I made the short trek to our local outlet mall this weekend, where they stock more sizes and more shoes. I'm usually a Nike gal, but nothing in the Nike store grabbed me, so I popped into the Adidas store and was immediately drawn to this shoe.
I love this shoe. I have a long, narrow foot and have trouble finding sneaks that I like. Honestly, I didn't realize this shoe was for trail running. I was just so amazed by the fit and how comfy it was, I hardly stopped to read details. I just love the way it fits my foot, very natural feel. I spend a lot of time outdoors and have already noted a difference in how I get around some kinds of terrain/hills. I have ankle issues, and these shoes make me feel a little more stable on uneven ground. While I'm not quite hardcore enough to run trails (I stick to flat roads), my boyfriend and I take frequent trails walks, and I'm thinking these shoes will work pretty well for that. Who knows, maybe I'll take up trail running. One other things about these shoes - they are quiet. I always have shoes on around the house, and usually when everyone goes to bed I had to tread very slowly and carefully on our hardwood floors so my footsteps don't wake anybody. I noted last night that I could walk normally around the house and make hardly a sound in these shoes. Pretty cool.

I purchased these, then found them in a store (for more!!!) but tried them on for size and found I needed a different, size, I figured it was a lost cause, but sent a message to the seller to see if they had the smaller size, but they didn't, however they offered to cancel the order for me (this was a few days after I ordered!) They were great!!!!! I will buy from them in the future for SURE!!!

T hese are great looking and feel great as well but after a long hike, my feet feel sore because there is not enough support. For moderate exercise they are fine.

I love these running shoes! They are very light and comfortable! I haven't used it on wet pavement yet though. However, the design of the sole looks like it will provide good traction regardless of the weather conditions.
