Love!, May 3, 2010
This review is from: adidas Women's Kanadia 2 Trail Running Shoe (Apparel)
Love these shoes! Ran a half marathon in them less than one week after buying them. So light weight and comfortable. I normally wear a size 7, but bought a 7.5 and I am so glad I did.....absolutely no toe discomfort following that long run. Adidas are made for my feet--a bit narrow in the heal, high arches and "Fred Flintstone" toes...I bought two pairs of another brand shoe and have had nothing but foot pain at the back of my arch...even when I just walk. Will stick with what works from now on!!!

Awesome trail running and hiking shoe!!!, August 3, 2010
I absolutely LOVE this shoe! I was long over due for a new running shoe and had recently moved to CO where there are many more trails to run and hike on than in OH:) I'm so glad I read the previous reviews regarding sizes, b/c I bought a half size bigger and I'm so glad I did! I hiked my first 14er after only a week of having these...NO BLISTERS! They really do grip better than my last pair of Adidas, which were cross-training shoes.

Great trail running shoes!, September 11, 2010
This review is from: adidas Women's Kanadia 2 Trail Running Shoe (Apparel)
This is a trail running shoe. This means the soles are designed for traction and suspension on wet terrain, loose rocks and dirt. If you use it for anything different, the sole may not last as long. As with any running shoe, I recommend getting these 1/2 a size larger, since the feet will fully extend while running.
I regularly run for over 2 hours on rocky mountainous terrain. I've spent way too much money on other [overpriced] trail running shoes and these are by far my favorite. I'm a neutral pronator, and these are perfect for me. The soles are extremely low-impact, making it easy on the ankles, knees and back. The cushioning on the inside is moderate (which is my preference). While running with these, the only thing that stops me is exhaustion and running out of water - my feet remain comfortable at all times! Most importantly, unlike many trail running shoes these have a somewhat soft toe box area. To me this means no toe injuries while running downhill. But if you prefer hard toe protection against boulders, these may not be the best shoes for you.
Bottom line: I highly recommend these to serious trail runners... They are easy on the wallet and easy on the feet.
