I have learned to never steer away from adidas, they are what work for my feet...more importantly my high arch! I use these on my short run days, they are very comfortable and not too heavy.

I had a pair of these shoes that I had worn since 2006 and started to pound a little bit so decided to buy another pair and WOW! These shoes were worn straight out of the box for a 40 minute walk on the treadmill at >3.5 mph and were the greatest thing I have bought for my exercise regimen in about 5 years! I LOVE this shoe. Light, airy, great heel grip with no slippage and felt like they were personally made for my foot. I wear a size 6 in normal shoes and bought a 6 1/2 here and it fit wonderfully! No foot pain upon wearing first time for long, powerful treadmill walk, and had no knee pain or hip pain afterward. I knew it was getting to be time to buy another pair because I had some slight knee pain and hip pain, but after 4 years? Well, let's just say that if I get that kind of wear out of these I will get way more than my money's worth. I am ordering another pair today in the black and gold to put away to make sure that I have this pair when these new ones wear out! I have only one little complaint. I have a little foot and high arches. The new shoe did not have quite the arch support the old ones feel like they have. Other than that? Love, love, LOVE this shoe! Going to buy another pair!

I have worn my RESPONSE Cushion 18's several times when walking for exercise, and they are great! The fit is comfortable....has decent arch support too. My feet feel great after a long walk, so much so that I often don't take them off right away when I get home like I do most other shoes!
