I bought this skirt in navy for gym classes. It's a small and it fits perfectly - not at all tight or binding. The color is a nice dark navy but not so dark that you have difficulty discerning it from black. The material is splendidly thick. Much thicker than any other 'gym skirt' that I own. Sturdy and beautiful with built in shorts. Sometimes I feel a little funny about working out at the gym and having my skirt ride up during situps or other floor exercises but these shorts make me feel well covered. I would buy this skirt in so many other colors if they had them!
