I was constantly getting shin splints when I went running, and bought these because they helped with over-pronation. I noticed a difference in support right away. Pretty cheap for the great quality, and I was extra happy they fit because I took a risk and ordered them online. They didn't completely fix my shin splint problems, but I still wear them to the gym and when I go biking.

These shoes are VERY comfy ~ I have really flat feet and pronate and these shoes felt like they "hugged" my ankles to keep them in line and had great arch support.
