Excellent Running High Mileage Fast Shoe, July 23, 2010
I think that it is important first to identify my body type, running style, running form before I review the shoe. I believe that a lot has to do with what kind of runner you are and what kind of shoe you need. I'm 27, 170 lbs. and a slight over-pronator (very slight), and I'm currently training for a marathon and averaging about 30 - 45 miles/week. With all that being said this is my perfect shoe. It's not light enough that it will beat you up too much, but its not heavy enough that it feels like a burden. For a fast runner that runs high mileage this is perfect. It's a good mix between a light sprinting shoe and a comfort high mileage shoe. I would recommend it for any runner that likes their speed, but also demands comfort over many many miles. If you are mainly a 6 mile/run runner or less, than I would certainly transition to an even lighter shoe meant for lower mileage (like the Adidas Mana). However, if you average runs of 8 - 20 miles per time out and don't want to sacrifice speed or the feeling of the road then this is the shoe for you.
