Afterthought is a piece of music that you can vibe to at any time. Mesmerizing beats, after I picked this up I bout all of Fat Jons cd's just don't confuse him with Lil Jon....You'll be extremely pissed if you do. You'll be hating life more than that politician getting busted with that prostitute. Whoa....I went there.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just as i remembered, February 8, 2008
This review is from: Afterthought (Audio CD)
One of the tightest artists out there. This is the second time I've bought this cd, since it was stolen out of my car, lol...Big fan of almost all Fat Jon's work except for STYROFOAM. Wasn't really feeling that one. Anyway, this is definitely music you can keep in constant rotation. Looking forward to hearing more in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars my thoughts on "afterthought", February 10, 2010

All around great album, cant stop listening to it. Fat Jon's beautifull production on this album sets a cool mellow mood that is great for reading, driving, or just chillin. My favorites: "Darkness" "All in Your Mind" and "Risk it All" in that order. Now i wish i could get my hands on his Samurai Champloo albums. Good stuff.

Once again, Fat Jon continues to show the masses (and fans) why he is simply one of the best. Anyone who are fans of the Samurai Champloo series, or listens to Five Deez, or just love smooth jazzy style hiphop oriented instrumentals should definately pick this album up.

5.0 out of 5 stars ...........Keeping em rollin', April 18, 2006

It's Fat Jon, it's a tight album. He is a superstar producer, and it doesn't let up from begining to end. My personal favorite track is #5 "Darkness". It's a track to me that you can ride to and bang all day, but in retrospect, its so good, if you play it all day, you will be caught in Darkness, because its all you will know. That last statement may be over some people's heads, but whatever.

It's a great album, and should be purchased.

P.S. Wave Motion is still the best album, Fo Real!!!
