J. I. Packard is right when he calls "For All the Saints" a "sumptuous smorgasbord." With chapters by leading Evangelical theologians of every stripe, editors Timothy George and Alister McGrath have choreographed a masterpiece of Christian spirituality. Finally we have a comprehensive evangelical introduction to spiritual theology. Especially instructive is Robert Smith's contribution on the spirituality of the African American tradition.
