I really liked this case. I think it fits the kindle fire well. There is one little issue when trying to use it as a stand that I reviewed in detail on this message. I hope this helps you in deciding whether you want this case or not.

Bought one of these for each of our household's fires. The case is higher quality than you would expect at this price point. I thought these would just be used as starter cases, but if they hold up I see no need to replace them.
The faux leather is nice, and doesn't have that awful synthetic smell. The magnetic cover closure is a pleasant surprise. The packaging is well done, and specifically states that this item is designed for the fire. I know that other sellers are marketing playbook covers as fire covers since the two devices are similar. I am posting this review from my fire wrapped in this case.

I ordered this a couple of days before receiving my Kindle Fire as the price at that point for this case was $4.99 shipped free via Prime. It showed up at the same time as my Fire and I have to say, this case would have been justifiable at $20. The fit and finish are excellent and it holds the Fire securely in place. There is also a magnet built into the top flap that holds it securely closed when not in use. Todays price for this case is $7.99 and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it again.

Nice case for the money
Works and looks as described, no problems using it as a stand to watch a movie. I like this case and would recommend it to anyone.

Good case for a good price.
I purchased this case/cover for my kindle fire and it was a great buy for a great price. Works as described and wasn't as expensive as a lot of the other covers listed on here.

Great product
This is a great case. It is the second one we have purchased. The first one was chewed up by a dog. It protected the kindle fire. Highly recommend this case.
