Has anyone had any luck with Char-Broil replacing the troughs at their expense? Thank You.

I haven't tried. But it's not s trough it's the heating element. Apparently they are not very helpful with replacements according to other reviews. personally, when mine dies completely I'm getting rid of it.

Yes. Sent them pictures of oxidation and they replaced at their expense.

They'll replace them within the first 12 months, which is the length of the warranty. After that, you'll have to buy new ones every 1-2 years, at $42 per grate, plus shipping.

I tried to get them to stand behind them at less than one year old and they would not honor the warranty at all. They only tried to get me to buy new ones which would have cost 185.00 total. This is the second commercial model Char Broil I have owned in 4 years and the first one was junk in less than two years. These grills are built with cheap, cheap metals and will not hold up!!!!!!!I
