One thing I don't like about the Wii and DSi, is that process of buying points for games. You either have to get a points card for 2000 points, and the point cost of the games rarely even out to 2000. So you have to get another 2000 points card. Why can't they have different denominations of point cards? I don't always need 2000 points. Maybe just 800. Why not have a card for that many points?
They do have the option of buying 1000 points, but only if you purchase it directly from the Wii/DSi shops, which leads to the question of the topic: has anyone ever bought points directly from the console? I find it dangerous to input my credit card info into my DSi with fear that the number can be stolen. Same thing with my Wii. With a computer, they have firewalls to protect you, but are there firewalls in the Nintendo consoles? Anyone tried it and it worked out perfectly? Any horror stories?
