well in order for there to be lag you would have to have a bad computer... or a bad internet connection.. but if both are good then you are fine

so i can connect the red white and yellow wires from say,a wii, to the thing and then through the usb in order to play the system?

This device has horrible horrible response when you hook it up directly to consoles.

Use RCA Y-Splitters. Plug the Y-splitter in to each of the white, yellow, and red connections of the Diamond VC500 device. Then connect the TV to one end, and the Xbox to the other end. Zero lag solution, and each Y-splitter cost about $2 each.
