Well in addition to Google voice search, Android has a text to speech engine built in. Its accessible via a button on the keyboard. I don't really use it much, but it works well.

Speech to text works perfect. I spoke "how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood". then say "question mark". The spelling (would and wood) was perfect. I recommend MobiSystems OfficeSuite 6.

Very accurate voice recognition, although there is no way you can train it, as you do when using speech recognition software such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking.

The speech to text works great on it. Its been part of android for years. Well before ipad/iphone added that features. I use that feature more on my phone than my tablet but i still find it useful on the tablet. I like like the google now commands too. Like I can say remind me to shut the oven off in one hour and it will set an alarm with the title shut the oven off for 1 hour from the current time.

It works really well. English it's my second language. Although i speak it fluently, from time to time i know i don't have a perfect diction. Either way, it seems to understand about anything. Also Google Now, and voice search works amazing.

I find it works pretty well... it's nice to be able to wake it up and say "Google", then ask it to look up something for you. I find it's pretty accurate.
