Very Shallow,

This review is from: Seven Days around Iceland's Ring Road (World Travel Guides) (Kindle Edition)
As someone who lived in Iceland for the better part of seven years and traveled many thousands of kilometers in the Icelandic countryside, I found the coverage in this book to be shallow at best. Granted, I reviewed only the Kindle sample. But in the "first day" of the trip, I could count a half-dozen places of interest that could have been seen but were not included and still had plenty of time to make it to the next destination before the TV news started on RUV. Also, the images included came from "free sources" (Wikipedia and Flickr), making me wonder why the authors had not included their own images. I'd recommend instead the Kindle version of Lonely Planet Iceland and hitting the web looking for travelogues and it is likely you will come up with a more customized and personalized look at the land of Fire & Ice.

My friends are planning on a trip to Iceland this summer and we have been reading a lot of information about the trip around the Ring Road. My girlfriend bumped on to this great guide which gives in-depth information on places to visit, accommodation and everything we need to know. Now we look forward to out trip!
