The cone is almost 1 1/2 " at the top. The top is very sharp, so use caution when handling it. Depending on the filling you use, you might want to try using a sugar cone wrapped in foil instead.

Sorry but I really can't tell. The packaging doesn't say either. They're really light weight and can dent easily. I've used them already and have no issues so far. Not seeing any type of rust or corrosion on them either. I washed them soon after use and made sure they were dried properly before putting away.

These are too small for ice cream cones. I bought them for mini cream horns for tea parties or any event you want a mini dessert. A small tablespoon scoop of icecrram am can fit on top but I think may fall off . easily. I am extremely pleased with the product and will order again.
