Make sure they set up in the freezer for the recommended 6 hours, then run hot water over the mold for about 20-30 seconds per side, then just pull on the handle slowly but firmly and they will slowly slide out.

They seem to come out better if you run them under hot water for a little bit. I've also found that more watery the pops the better they come out. I make some smoothie ones and they are much harder to get out then the water based ones I make.

I would say that they are at least as stable in the holder as any other type, perhaps more so. I've used others before and you have to be careful will all of them. I think these are pretty stable but I found that you do have to be sure and push them down into the base firmly to be safe. Hope this helps.
