If your studs allow you to mount this system on your wall EXACTLY CENTERED ON THE WALL THAT YOU WANT IT, then it will probably work for you. That means that it has to be set up exactly the way it is shown in the picture. If you try to adjust it in any way, the sway arm gets out of alignment, and your tv will be crooked. I had purchased this mount for a 55" that weighed about 80 lbs., and because my studs were not centered on the wall that I was mounting it on, there was no way to adjust the tv to be centered on the wall, and the system that they have on the sway arm of the bracket (the part that holds the tv) was not strong enough to hold the tv on center. I fussed with this thing for hours putting it together, mounting it, and trying every possible way to get it to work properly before making the decision to send it back. I know that this bracket is very well rated by Amazon customers, however don't make the mistake I did - READ THE BAD REVIEWS FIRST! This bracket may suit your needs, however the best system on the market for this type is a SANUS that is not only easier to mount to your wall due to having an adjustable mounting bracket, but the sway arm is also adjustable AND strong enough to hold the tv on center. I paid just a little more for a SANUS on ebay than I did for the Cheetah. GOOD LUCK see less

Well not entirely sure about the Vesa question. I do know the attachment arms well for sure fit 400x400. The plate the arms attach to will also be large enough. My 55" has plenty of room to slide back and forth. Bolt patterns on similar LED/LCD 60" TV's shouldn't have any issue at all. Then take the plate and put it up to the arms and you will see how much side to side you have which should be plenty. see less

Answer:
I don't know for sure. It did say it would fit our Samsung...the issue is that the hinges just didn't seem to be able to support the weight and so it was constantly not level and didn't really seem to be very secure.

Answer:
It's really about the weight. My experience was that while this is a well built unit, you get what you pay for in things like this. The expensive ones (couple hundred or more) cost more for a reason. I would say "sure" if your tv was smaller. Mine was 60".
