It doesn't but there is a piece that snaps in that prevents them from sliding down. I had the sling with my first two then this one and honestly prefer this. Its open soyoy can wash around them and are able to move the limbs freely to wash under and around. Hope this helps!!

I wouldn't say easy, but it can be done. I have small hands so was harder for me but easy for hubby. I seem to recall that looking it up online for removal instrictions helped too. We had this tub for 2 different children & never had any issues, just be sure to flip it to dry if possible. And as a precaution, check under insert every couple months. Highly recommend this tub for baby & parental comfort through whenever baby tries to stand up while in tub! see less

It stays in one spot, which is a bit of a flaw. It would be great if it was able to be adjusted. We have to hold our baby in there at the moment, as he's in that in between size stage.
