The XPDF is a dimming module and the XPFM is a switch module with no dimming cabability. Specs on the XPDF shows it is only able to handle up to 300 watts incandescent (probably any dimmable LED as well) and in contrast the XPFM is able to handle a full 15 amp load of virtually any type.

First there are 2 different versions one is an appliance module and the other is a dimming module. The When you use it to control a motor type load that number drops. This is due to inrush current on the relay. I hope this answers your question

It sure looks like it will work. I have not used the Leviton product, but from their website it looks like the same functions in a different package: 15A, On-Off, All On/Off (not dimmable). I've been happy with mine for a number of years.
