Have been using it for several months, just bought one for my son. I always wash it by hand, as I read that many reviewers said it got hairline cracks in the pitcher. Since I wash it by hand, never had that problem (again after months of use). The key is to always keep the water level above the fruit, or the fruit will go bad quicker. The fruit lasts about a week (plus). My favorites are cantelope, watermelon (but that only good for about 5 days) and raspberries. If you use raspberries, only use frozen ones. Hope this helps. Yes, I love this pitcher- I use it with lemons, tea and peaches or tea and cranberries. My family loves flavored water so this is a great product.

Answer:
A mild paste made with baking soda and water, applied to the inside of the pitcher, with a sponge, and your bottle brush, are tough enough to remove stains but gentle enough not to leave a chemical odor or deep scratches in your pitcher.
I hope this helps!

Answer:
Yes, the fruit stays fresh for about 7 to 10 days before you would need to change the fruit. Just keep adding water as you empty the pitcher each day and then change out the fruit in 7 to 10 days.
