I think the "entry level" newest iMac 21.5" for $1299 is the MD093 with Nvidia GT640 graphic card, and the "upscale" iMac 21.5" for $1499 is the MD094 with the faster GT650 card.

Since there are far more Windows machines in circulation, the overwhelming majority of viruses are written for Windows. That isn't to say that the Mac is invulnerable. It can be infected. However, I have Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems on 6 PCs...I get about 1 Windows virus a year (in spite of up-to-date antivirus software). I've never gotten a Mac or Linux infection. As an aside, I'll never do banking or on-line shopping on my Windows PC's. Now as far as cookies, spam, and pop-ups go, those are functions of your internet browser and email settings. In other words, whether you use Firefox or Chrome browsers on a PC or Mac, they'll behave pretty much the same way on any OS. see less
