Unfortunately, even if you buy the MacBook, you can still not be sent to Europe with USPS. The United States Postal Service does not allow shipment of living people through the postal system. I suggest you try FedEx.

No you are not wasting your money. Until 2012 I was always a PC man until purchased an I-phone. Then my daughter gave me an I-pad for Christmas. I was impressed so much by the quality and functionality of them both, so much, I purchased an I-mac pro desk top and then a MacBook Pro laptop. I will never go back to a PC again.

Oh yeah, it does. It comes with the CD/DVD slot. The newest Apple - MacBook Pro with Retina Display - 13.3" however does not come with the CD/DVD slot.
