Most of us used the workaround of installng an older version of Flash. Then in mid-April, Amazon changed their programming for streaming so that wouldn't work anymore. You may still want to download an older version of Flash from the Adobe Archives so you can use it for other apps and websites that need it. By all appearances, Amazon is trying to get the Amazon Prime Video users to buy Kindles instead of alternative Android brands. see less

This particular one is just Verizon if using the 4g, but obviously the wifi is open game. I just gave one to my husband and we haven't even registered it with Verizon yet. He is off on the deck picking out apps! I love that it has the capability if needed.
