Yes, you can install. Practically each desktop has additional SATA cable to add more memory - disks or SSD. You should fasten your SSD to make sure it is not loose. Then connect SATA cables to it. The item they told me to buy would not take the o/s and when I contacted them about it, they told me to buy a different model but would do nothing about having misinformed me about my purchase. I complained up the OCZ food chain without satisfaction. I don't give my business to other companies that behave like OCZ and don't stand behind their products, including HP, whose bizarre policies cost me a boatload of time five years ago. Yes, I have a memory. Buy from OCZ at your peril. see less

I am not sure, I have had this one for over a year using Win8 in two different computers, first was with a "normal" BIOS new one is using UEFI and I have never had any issues.

Both Dell and OCZ are SATA SSD 2.5". However, any SSD of your choice will be compatitable. Just make sure to backup your data and install OS in the new SSD .

I did this and it took about 5 minutes in online chat with MS to register the OS license again. I prefer a fresh install see less
