Of course, asking about battery life in any smartphone is dependent upon many variables- push notification settings, cellular signal strength, etc. There are two ways you can solve battery life issues on an S3 - you can buy a replacement battery for about $3.00 and an external battery charger for another $5.00, keep the fully charged battery in a pocket, and swap batteries when your charge gets low. Or, if you don't mind extra thickness and weight, switch to the Zerolemon battery for the S3- 7000 awesome milliamps of power, instead of the 2100 milliamps in the factory issued battery. I literally go for three to four days between charges, without a problem. see less

I don't know if this can be used as the phone for Straighttalk. You need to be able to directly connect to the Straight talk modem, as far as I know. I do connect to the internet without a cell signal using an AT&T MICROCELL.
