You can use Storage Management under System Management to delete the backup partition. Once its free you can make bigger the other partition with this free space. Be sure not to delete any partition marked as. ACTIVE/BOOT.

I believe you can, but it may be difficult. I have opened the case, and could easily change the SSD, but I struggled in trying to get the battery out and gave up since I did not need to replace it. Even now, the battery still lasts about 4 hours on a full charge.

I'm pretty sure that you can replace the 128GB SSD with a larger MSATA SSD. I have not done it myself, but I opened up the laptop and saw the MSATA that's in there. I didn't see any place to put an additional internal drive.
