For example if your photos are 5 MB in size each, that would give you 20 per 100 MB of storage space and that times 100 = 10 GB = 2,000 photos. Yup, it's pretty cool. Once you have it set up, you can indeed control it remotely. I'm not sure if you can turn it off and on remotely since I haven't tried yet, but you can change everything else you mentioned remotely.
