It has 2 HDMI ports and one component video connection. It does not have wifi built into the TV. But, if your macbook pro has an HDMI out, you should be able to connect it directly to the TV. I have a Chromecast connected to the HDMI port and it has wifi built into it. I am able to cast media to it using both the iPad and iPhone. You could do something similar with it or an Apple TV device. see less
