This absorbency level used to be super plus before OB marketing people up graded every level by 1 (regular became super, super became super plus, etc). This is THE only tampon that can stand up to the one or two heavy flow days a month. Without them I would have to choose between taking a sick day every month and camping out in the ladies room during the heaviest part of the day. Neither option is career enhancing. The only caveat is to use them appropriately only on heavy days and not as a substitute for an all day pad. The last thing we need is someone developing Toxic Shock Syndrome from not practicing intelligent hygiene and then blaming the product. They are very hard to find in drug stores. I haven't been able to find them in any of the local drug store chains in a long time. Thank you Amazon!

I have suddenly stopped being able to find this in the stores. I actually called OB to find out if they stopped making it, and they claim they haven't. And yet, it's been on backorder for Amazon too. So I made an order and I'm waiting, waiting, waiting....

Please hurry and get it back in stock! There are three women in this household who are getting desperate!

I contacted O.B. today and according to them, they have halted production of the Ultra tampon as of August 2010, but will resume production in May, 2011. From what I understand, they are changing the product. What those changes are, I do not know.

Packaged for sanitary use, and very absorbent. Would use no other brand or style. Never have any leaks or problems. Very good price when purchased here online through amazon with the free shipping.

OB ultra is, in my opinion, the best I have found on the market. I find it very frustrating that in a city as big as Chicago I have to go online to order these because they are either sold out or not carried by many stores. If women who have heavy cycles would try these, I believe they would choose them over the super plus. OB is easy to carry in your purse and although I prefer the ultra, in any size the quality is better than all the others I have tried...and I have tried everything I can find that comes in super and above.

I haven't found anything that can hold a candle to o.b. Ultra. These are a miracle product for those of us who really, really need the extra absorbancy. Hey o.b., I can't put my period on hold until May 2011!!

No leaks, period. What more can I say? Discrete to carry, another plus. The Ultra is hard to find in the stores. Order them from Amazon at a great price, and never run out.

These are the best product on earth and I can't find them anywhere. They are out of stock everywhere. PLEASE TELL ME they haven't stopped making them!!!

The manufacturer has made a great improvement with this product. these seem to be the thing I always forget at the supermarket. I have found that these have lasted longer than any other brand; second to none. They are a little pricey but I still think they are worth it. You get what you pay for, as the saying goes.

I've used this product since the 1980's when I was in college. I could always depend my O.B.s for discreet and complete protection during all the different phases of my period. Now, in my 40's, my cycle has changed and O.B. Ultra is there for me again with the ultimate in protection. A great product in a tiny package!!!
