With the introduction of the Dockers brand in 1986, Levi Strauss & Co created an entirely new category of casual clothing in the United States, bridging the gap between suits and jeans. A year later, Dockers khakis had become the fastest growing apparel brand in history. Throughout the 1990s, Dockers has been instrumental in changing what office workers wear on the job.
