Frequency Counters & Pulse Generators
Frequency counters and pulse generators are types of electrical testing equipment for use in research and development, manufacturing, or maintenance of electrical systems. A frequency counter measures the frequency level an electronic device is generating, measured in hertz. Some devices, such as radio communication devices, are regulated and must operate at precise frequencies, and a frequency counter helps maintain that level. A pulse generator creates an electronic signal that triggers other electronic devices to respond, and is used in designing, testing, or repairing electronics. The signal can be set to specific voltage and repetition rates as required by the application. Pulse generators can be adjusted to precisely control the length of a signal and the delay between pulses.
