Produces hundreds of sounds replicating shruti boxes. Storage case included, A/C adapter included. Has an internal speaker, does have an external speaker port. Configurations may vary from picture. Functions include a Metronom, notes C-B with natural and sharps. You can Fine tune the note you select up or down. Then you can also select Pa or MA to play in conjunction with the main note selected. This instrument is mainly for practice purposes. It is also used in Classical Musical programs. It is very useful for students who do not have access to a harmonium during their practice. These instruments are manufactured in the central coastal State of Maharashtra. The conversion plug (enclosed with the Shruti Box) makes it able to plug into a regular household outlet. Eight (8) "AA" batteries can be used.

This electronic shruti box which also runs on battery, is almost as aesthetic as the mechanical one. And can be used on both 120V and 240V. Its easy to carry because of it's light weight. Overall, good packaging.

Product doesn't play multiple tones of s-p-S. Only plays a single tone. The plug point needs an adapter for US outlets.
