Beautiful Photos
I rate books on art, antiques, and collectibles on the quality and number of color photos. This survey of French Majolica (barbotine) has beautiful color photos of most of the top manufacturers in France. My only complaint is that it is in French which I do not read. I knew this before ordering. I have not found a survey of French Majolica in English. This book...

A GOOD INTRODUCTION TO FRENCH MAJOLICA. LOTS OF COLORFUL PHOTOS. TEXT IN FRENCH. FOR THOSE WHO CAN READ FRENCH VERY MEDIOCRE HISTORICAL NARRATIVES FILLED WITH ERRORS. NEVERTHELESS, VERY GOOD FOR ANTIQUE COLLECTORS WITH LOTS OF GOOD PHOTOS TO HELP IDENTIFY ORIGINS.

This survey of French Majolica (barbotine) has beautiful color photos of most of the top manufacturers in France. My only complaint is that it is in French which I do not read. I knew this before ordering. I have not found a survey of French Majolica in English. This book arrived promptly and in perfect condition. I recommend the seller highly.
