It's a shame that this little gem is out of print. You'll want a copy if you can get one!
I first read this classic when I ran the Children's Desk at the Corning, NY, Public Library many years ago. I was enchanted by the brilliant artwork and the hilarious story. Years later I found a copy online somewhere and bought it for my own shelf, where it now occupies a place of honor, patiently awaiting the arrival of grandchildren. |
