Informative & Comprehensive,
By Raquel B. (Mount Vernon, New York USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: bell hooks' Engaged Pedagogy: A Transgressive Education for Critical Consciousness (Critical Studies in Education and Culture Series) (Paperback)
No one book can cover all of bell hooks' work, but Florence made sense as she introduced and analysed hooks' work/theory behind education. Florence's work was clear and objective allowing the reader to form his or her opinion about pedagogy and hooks' view on teaching, race, and class in America.
