I bought this to use in a memorial service for my father-in-law who was a member of the coast guard auxiliary. He was cremated and put in a brass box with a coast guard insignia. I placed this bell next to him on the altar and it just looked beautiful. My wife keeps it as a memento of her father. The bell is well finished, the engraving is nicely done and the item arrived very quickly.
