This DVD has some great dancing exhibitions. These Argentine tango dancers are absolutely superb. Their feel for authentic argentine tango music is incomparable. This video has an incredible range of performers - from young to old, from modern to traditional. All of the performances are live and have a great athmosphere of excitement. Highly recommend it.

The amazing dancers in this video are all stars in the universe of argentine tango. Granted, this universe is not well known to the public at large, but once you see them dance, you'll be transformed forever. Good thing it's a DVD, because you will be rewinding and watching certain performances over and over again. Can't wait for the 2003 edition.

This collection of performances is an instant classic. Just as argentine tango music is timeless, these dancers and their choreographies have set the standard for excellence for decades to come. There are many styles and personalities to choose from on this DVD. One may like some more than others, but they all have one thing in common - they are uniquely argentine.

I am a tango instructor at Fred Astaire Studios, but dance Argentine tango too. I loved the routines, especially the older dancers. I lent it to my girl friend who loves tango, and she won't give it back. She's in love with this DVD. So I'm buying another one.

Price is high, but the content is worth it. It is impossible to find a video anywhere else that has this much quality and quantity of Argentine Tango performances. There is a major difference between tango dancing that is seen outside of Argentina and inside that country. This video does not feature the typical "for export" choreographies that most North American audiences are used to by now. Instead, it features the best of traditional salon tango dancing and the best of the nuevo tango. This is very rare and can only be seen in Buenos Aires.
