The best of what's cheap in tablets ($200 and under)

The list author says: "Tons of the same question keeps coming into the Tablet forum here on Amazon. While the actual words of the queries differ slightly, it's still the same question - what's the best cheap tablet I can get? Hey, I get it, money doesn't grow on trees, and my other list of the excellent tablets doesn't fit the price budget of all potential tablet buys.
But by the same token, premium quality tablets aren't dirt cheap. Every device here has one or more reasons for being less desirable. Performance, battery life, brand, features, etc. Something isn't up to snuff compared to the pricier models, which is why they are cheap in the first place. If you're willing to have very lowered expectations, one of these might fit the bill.. And with that, here we go."
"On specs alone, it looks pretty good. 1GHz CPU (unknown maker), Google Play (aka Market) access, camera, GPS, Bluetooth, and some other goodies. With Android 2.2 rolling inside, you can move supported apps to an SD card. And you're going to want to, as this little guy only has 2GB of native storage, part of which is taken up by the OS."
"Another brand name device with decent hardware. The problem here is apps. There aren't nearly as many available for it as there are for Android tablets with access to Google Play or Amazon Appstore. Around 1% at best. Also, the apps it does have are often more expensive than their Android or iOS counterparts."
