Not the one that I had expected,

This review is from: In-between Places (Paperback)
I bought the book because of the famous title "in-between." Naturally, I expect to read the conflicts of Glancy, a half Indian and half White. Well, I do read these conflicts, but not so well-organized that I had thought. To be brief, the book contains some simple reflection of Glancy in her daily life, from her teaching to her meditation on "What is an Indian" (but without giving a clear thought--or maybe, that's what she said, "in-between"?). Another truth is, "In-between Places" is just one article of this books. Most of the time, articles are expressed with some ruminations on some trips. You can read a lot of quotations (without page numbers) and also some indigenous words but it seems--that's it--no more, no less. Well, it may be provocative as commented by Ray Gonzales, yet, at least, I need time to figure out in what way is the book "provocative."
