An extremely strong neodymium magnet system offers the DT 131 TV highly detailed sound reproduction quality, is mechanically very robust, and needs only a small amount of operating voltage which increases efficiency. This increased efficiency also leaves the DT 131 with greater power reserves for dynamic, undistorted sound that especially compensates well for low-spec mobile devices such as portable media players that often can't perform at the same level as dedicated home equipment. The 40 Ohm voice coil provides transparency and increased impulse fidelity.

If you don't mind the cord - which I don't - it's really nice for the price. Lets me watch TV and not keep my wife from sleeping. Wouldn't rely on it for music though.

I bought these beacuse it stated they work on TV jacks. This one doesn't. I have e-mail'd around but gotten no resolution.
