So, it's idiotic to seek the better deal? Saving $20 off a future gaming purchase hardly seems idiotic in my mind. As much as I love Amazon, I'd rather save money. Usually I save money by going with Amazon but in this case it doesn't appear it'll be that way.
I was referring to the people up top that said they dropped the ball. It is a game everybody will buy regardless of promotional credit. A promotional credit is not required to make the sale for them so why bother? Just sick of everyone complaining that Amazon didn't include one. There are other retailers. Just go buy there and quit the damn whining.
"If you offer an opinion (even if it seems to be in the minority), that isn't trolling. Those who post on Amazon, begging for promotional credit or price matches are the ones who needs to get a life."
If it weren't for consumer pressure, there wouldn't be promotional deals on Amazon for everyone. Do you think Amazon doesn't look at these discussions? Moderators do.
Personally, I'm glad people whine about promotional credit. When I was looking to purchase a PS3, several discussions cropped up about $100 promotional credit offered at Wal-mart. Sure enough, Amazon followed the lead and offered the $100.
In my mind, those who post for promotional credit are doing so for practical intent. Those who make comments complaining about the whiners are wasting their time.
Good news for me! I'm already getting this game for 30 something dollars from Amazon because of a past pre-order that I had forgotten about. ($20 credit). So that means, when LBP2 ships...I'll get another $20 promo credit and get Dead Space 2 for 30 something bucks too! Can't lose with Amazon!
(Couldn't care less about Mass Effect 2 btw),...just thought I'd throw that in, since people are going nuts about it.
