5.0 out of 5 stars A Masterpiece!!, September 8, 2008
By goozemann (West Chester, PA United States) - See all my reviews
This, and Slayer's Reign in Blood, are the two greatest thrash albums of all time!! And yes, that includes Metallica (those pansies). This desperately needed to be re-mastered, as the first issue CD sounded like crap and was way too low in volume. Now my only gripe is why, again, isn't the original artwork shown?? Fortunately I own the vinyl, but still, let's get this classic on CD with great sound and all original artwork.

5.0 out of 5 stars thrash from the early 80's resurrected with some fine tuned master tapes clean up!, November 30, 2008
A Kid's Review
most often remasters you could tell the difference but this time it's justifed and appearent.they cleaned it up and equalized this classic thrashardpiece.nothings rerecorded just brought back to live by newer technology.thank god this was always a heavy album but the anther lesson in violence live recording was so,so heavy and the old cd was weak in production and dated, but not it has had a face lift(aso to speak)and it sound better yet,if you like 80's thrash and you don't own this your just a posuer and paul bayloffs tossing in his grave RIP!check out the re-recording of this cd let their be blood and try and finding bonded by bayloff cd (early stuff including kirk hammett on guitar!)

4.0 out of 5 stars the first in a line of thrash classics by exodus, August 5, 2008
this cd firth put exodus back on the map after many delays while megadeth, slayer, metallica and other put out lp these guys got held up and release this lp in 85 when most of it was writting and well rehearsed but 83 after trashing some kirk hammet matterial when he left for matalica.these guys were the home town thrashers when all others toured the world but their guitars would be heard they opened for just about everyone, eventually headlining soon and then toured with many of the big dogs at one point or another.they remastered this cd but they couldn't do too much to clean it up(old school recording equipment)and this version has only 2 bonus trasks same as the 89 reissue(live w/zetro in london.for a better listen to this cd try another lesson in violence live witrh paul bayloff that cd is so crystal clear production you might forget its live un till paul heckles the crowd.purely powerful sound on the live recording and paul dose some songs from pleasures that he wrote(you'll never here that again(rip)!
