Not engaging,

While I really liked the atmosphere of Iran that was evoked in this book, I couldn't get into the story or characters. They were not well differentiated from each other, and I just didn't care about them. I found myself skimming most of the book and after I finished it, I found I couldn't really remember what happened. Disappointing.
